Cheers Darling Events is a full-service event planning and design firm based in Washington, DC, specializing in celebrations that are modern, meaningful, and memorable (for all the right reasons!). 

With over 200 events under our belt, including weddings featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, The Knot, and Washingtonian Weddings, no event is too big or too small (or too far away, for that matter) for the Cheers Darling team, because we believe that life’s best days should be celebrated just the way you want to celebrate.  

And because throwing a party should be just as fun as going to a party, we created a seamless and stress-free planning process that ensures you always feel in the loop, never feel overwhelmed, and have confidence in every decision and detail.

For Kaitlin, a career in wedding planning was a natural fit from the start. The oldest sibling of a sizable midwestern brood, she has always loved celebrating life’s best days - with curated details and decor on point, naturally - with her people. And to work with Kaitlin is to become one of her people. 

Known as much for her meticulous planning and preparation as her eye for style, Kaitlin’s approach to design is entirely focused on bringing her clients' personality and story to life, incorporating their style and traditions, both new and old, into a design that is often colorful, probably patterned, definitely fun, and most importantly, meaningful. 

A true extrovert, Kaitlin has never met a stranger or turned down the chance to visit somewhere new. And when she’s not planning your best day, she’s traveling with friends, visiting family, and sweating it out at a fitness class before checking out the newest spot in town.

After working in nonprofit fundraising and event management for years, Jane knew she wanted to find a way to use her skills that felt more connected and personal. Enter the wedding industry! From her first season as a coordinator with Cheers Darling in 2016, Jane has loved being a part of her clients’ best days and beyond (and is known to tear up during vows and toasts). In her role as Associate Coordinator, Jane’s attention to detail, organizational skills, and team-player personality shine through at every event, but it’s the connection she forms with her clients that brings her the most joy.
 
After living in over a dozen places, Jane has spent the last eleven years putting down roots in DC. If you want to catch up with Jane, you can find her eating fries at Le Diplomate, in the stands cheering on our World Series Champion Washington Nationals, or spinning on her Peloton.
